Maya Landman

My name is Maya Landman. I am an art therapist, Painter and Mixed Media artist living and working in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Born in Toronto, Canada in 1982.

2009 -Completed my B.Ed in Fine Arts and Art education at “Hamidrasha” School of Art, Beit-Berl Academic College.

2020 - Completed my M.A.A.T art therapy at " Seminar Hakibuzim" Academic College.

Latest shows include Art Souterrain - Montréal ,“Traces – The Biennale for Drawing in Israel” and “Fresh Paint 3” the Israeli art fair in Jaffa Port .

 

My art is based on randomly occurring imperfections and mistakes, using the flaws for my advantage, in order to tell a story. Often, assessing human situations using an animal slant .

The essence of my work is the acceptance of human variation through the appreciation of the imperfections in nature and animals.
